WEBCAM THERAPY VIA Skype

Free initial Consultation

One to one Cognitive Behavioural Therapy via video link is very similar in practice to traditional face to face sessions. Additionally, research shows that online therapy is equally effective. (Ruwaard, 2011)

This is unsurprising, because however CBT is accessed, at its core it is about you learning to become your own therapist by having a clear understanding of what maintains your difficulties, and using that learning to make changes to your own circumstances.

Advantages of Online Webcam Therapy:

  • No travel time.
  • Access therapy at a time of your convenience.
  • Access therapy from the comfort and safety at a place of your choice and convenience.
  • Access high quality evidence based therapy, rather than what is "just available" locally.

The Practicalities.

Skype is a secure webcam medium that is free, easy to download and easy to use. This enables us to open a secure real time video link enabling us to work together face to face.

Therapy is delivered in the same format as if face-to-face. Each session is 65 and lasts approximately 50 minutes-1 hour. Payment is via BACS (internet bank transfer).

Booking a Session.

Contact me either by phone or email so we can get some details on the issues you wish to address. Thereafter we can arrange a mutually suitable date and time to meet over a Skype video link for a free initial consultation.

Tel: 0753 4933343 or gerry@cbttherapist.co.uk

I offer a free 20 minutes consultation via Skype. This will afford you the chance to ask any questions you may have about cognitive behavioural therapy and how that can be applied to your own difficulties.

After our initial meeting, you can then decide if you would like to book further sessions.
